Meet the Course Facilitator

Executive Director, FATE Foundation Adenike Adeyemi

Adenike Adeyemi is a social innovator with 23 years of experience designing, funding, and implementing high-impact social programs at scale. She is a 2021 Eisenhower Fellow and recognized in 2023 by Google.org as a Global Non-Profit Leader to Watch. As CEO of FATE Foundation, Nigeria’s leading business incubator, Adenike has empowered over 1 million entrepreneurs across Nigeria, Kenya, and South Africa through knowledge, mentoring, funding, and market linkages. She has led digital initiatives like msmehub.org and is leveraging AI to reach 5 million entrepreneurs by 2030. She has overseen key funding programs, including disbursing the $1 million FATE Giving COVID-19 Support Fund, and has driven partnerships with organizations such as the Kingdom of the Netherlands, Google, Meta, Ford Foundation, and Citi Foundation. Adenike has contributed to multiple research publications, including the Annual State of Entrepreneurship in Nigeria Report and the MSME Competitiveness Report, and served on boards of local and international institutions including YBI, NESG, BudgIT, and Lagos Chamber of Commerce and Industries. She is a Senior Fellow at the School of Sustainability, Lagos Business School, and holds a Master of Public Administration, a Master of Arts in Diplomacy and International Relations from Seton Hall University, and a Bachelor of Arts in Linguistics and African Languages from the University of Ibadan.
